Anti oxidant Refreshing Smoothie

Hot days have finally arrived. We are out on the sun for much longer, we sweat more and dehydrate much easier than during cold winter days. Remember to hydrate your self during the day at all the time making sure you refill body electrolytes. Water is one of the most important energy source for your body. It transports essential nutrients to body cells, takes part in metabolic and chemical reactions, regulates body temperature, works on waste removal through kidneys and urine system and many more.

It is very important to stay hydrated at all the time. Do not wait to feel thirsty. If you do you are probably missing at least one liter of water already.

Smoothies are great option for additional hydration during summer days. As we aim to eat less when the temperature is high, smoothie is fantastic option for small meal / snack during the day. It will satisfy your hunger and hydrate you at the same time.

Here you got simple Vitamin C Bomb Anti Oxidant Smoothie that works very well on hydrating and it’s nutritional content will top up necessary electrolytes.

Get ready:

  • Hand full Fresh Kale

  • 2 Kiwis

  • 1 Orange Squeezed Juice

  • 1 Lime Juice

  • 1 spoon linseed (or any high omega 3 oil)

  • half glass coconut water (or almond milk, any plant milk or water)

  • Pinch Himalayan Salt

*If you add in hand full any nuts or 1 tbs Maca powder or Hemp powder it will rise protein content which will help in keeping your hunger away for much longer.
